Hooray! We did it before the tourist season started! Modern Wooden Houses has completed the construction of a glamping site, the dome houses of which are built according to the Lavanda Sfere project. We talked about its design in detail earlier, at the end of September 2024. As we can see today, most of the apartments have already been commissioned and are ready to receive visitors. The following video shows that the pool area is already functioning, and the entertainment area is almost ready.
The dome houses are completely eco-friendly and built from completely natural materials, the frame and finishing are made of wood and the roof is reed. This combination of materials is not only typical for eco-tourism but is also the most energy-efficient, allowing to reduce heat loss in hot and cold weather and, quite quickly, create a comfortable microclimate inside the premises.
Let us recall that the dome houses have a diameter of 6.5 m and a useful area of about 40 m2. 30 m2 are located on the first floor. There is a kitchen-studio, a recreation area with a bed and shelves under the stairs, and a bathroom combined with a shower. On the second floor there is an open mezzanine, where you can place either an additional recreation area with a sofa bed or organize a children's area.
The height of the dome house is not equal to the radius, but increased to 5.5 m, so the second floor is quite functional for adults, a single-flight staircase leads there, and a dormer window is built into the vault, illuminating both the second and first floors at the same time, since the space is not divided by partitions.
The company Modern Wooden Houses has made every effort to provide customers with the most comfortable and high-quality eco-apartments in the shortest possible time, meeting the start of the tourist season. We hope that visitors to the dome glamping will appreciate the convenience and advantages of the dome house technology and spend an unforgettable time surrounded by nature, while maintaining comfort and not giving up the amenities of civilization. …
